About 2 months ago, I switched my diet to a vegetarian one and have been eating very healthy (a lot of veggies, fruits, and grains, and pretty much no junk food at all) and I expected an improvement in my well-being because of this. I also get sick a lot, so part of why I changed my diet was to be more healthy and not get sick. But I still am getting sick pretty often... and I don't get why.

I saw what is hiding, deep within us.
I saw peace.
Now that I know it's there
I will remember.
I will help others remember.
Its always there.

Recently I have found my self diving deeper into poetry (specifically spiritual poetry) and have started to write some of it on my own. It would be really cool if you guys shared some of your favorite poetry with me too! So far I have really enjoyed Sufi, Hindu, Chinese, and Transcendental poetry, but I'm open for whatever.

Section I: Introduction and Context

Usually when someone has a near death experience (or something similar like the psychedelic experience), they become more spiritual and start to correct the errors within their mind, body, and the earth. They become more "conscious" and open-minded.

I recently read The Supreme Identity by Alan Watts, and attained a deeper understanding of the Self and Self-realization (in Eastern Metaphyics; like about the Atman and Brahman). And today I watched an interview of John Hagelin, and he was discussing consciousness, the Unified Theory, and oneness.

I'm a 17 year old junior in high school, and I was wondering about somethings that I could sacrifice in the outer reality of my life that are practical and would start to help the Earth more?
