IcerocketOn March 11 a new documentary was aired on French television (ARTE – French-German cultural tv channel) by French journalist and film maker Marie-Monique Robin, The World According to Monsanto - A documentary that you won’t see on American television. The gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.

Crazy corruption

I thought that one of the more upsetting facts was the information they revealed about Michael Taylor. Former Vice President of Monsanto, became the FDA's Commissioner for Policy in 1991 - 1994. In the documentary he claimed that he had nothing to do with writing the policies that came into law during the time he was Commissioner. Yet 3 researchers found that comment to be a blatant lie.
Where do our checks and balances go if we allow for this to happen? Monsanto is a beast. I'm only half-way through this film....I may write more later. Regardless, everyone should watch this.
