"Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we have been waiting for." — Hopi elders

About Me

Bio

There was a patch of woods. It was beautiful, and wandering dreamily through it helped me kick tobacco, circa 1970. It was the place where friends and I dropped acid, took off our clothes, theorized, planned, dreamed. Gooseneck Hollow was supposed to be a community from which self reliance and hedonic poverty would radiate and shalt the death machine. It couldn't last. Everything I have done since has happened in relationship to that place. When I think of it and my subsequent studies, accomplishments, joys, sorrows, compromises, I think "Right the first time."
