My life has been pretty academic; Cornell, Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for public health school, and finally a graduate degree in administration. I worked as a health care administrator, raised two children, was involved in all kinds of civic activities. When I filed for divorce, I moved to the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina. I was drawn here by the crystals in the mountains.

Since living here I have worked for a watershed and worked as a campaign manager for a NC House candidate. I began learning to fly when I lived in Princeton Junction with my first flight out of the Princeton Airport. I took a few more flying lessons when I relocated to North Carolina.

Even though I’ve always believed sky ships were real, I’d never seen one until I was driving home on July 20, 2010. I was headed south on highway 441 about 9:40 p.m. As I came upon the Exxon station just south of Dillsboro, I had a strong feeling I should look up. I knew the terrain from flying a Cessna above it.
As I turned my eyes toward the black night sky, there it was hovering just 50 feet over the highway. It was a narrow, rectangular ship that appeared to be about 50 to 60 feet wide and 20 feet high. The ship had dim lights in no particular order. There were maybe four or five long, vertical lights salmon amber in color. The ship hovered at a slight angle as though it might be circling or perhaps seeking a place to land or crashing. I have taken flying lessons and flown over this area so I know the terrain.

I heard a loud, screeching noise behind it – like the sound of a jumbo jet about to land. The thought crossed my mind that military jets might be chasing it. Of course, jets couldn’t fly that low and would have been forced to abruptly regain altitude.

Since there was no place to pull off the highway where I felt comfortable enough to stop at night to observe it, I drove on home. As I passed under the ship I did look back but couldn’t see a thing. This was the blackest night I had ever seen.

My immediate feeling upon seeing the ship was one of wonder. I felt surprisingly calm and also experienced a light tingling sensation. Reflecting back on the experience, it was an answer to a week-long request to see a ship for myself.

But the story doesn't end there. For ten (10) consecutive nights I awakened exactly two seconds before 1 a.m. totally refreshed after only sleeping three (3) hours. I was given a 'knowing' that we must become economically sustainable immediately. That means we have to live in small communities, eat locally, consume only what we need locally.

Since the encounter, my intuition is heightened. I am earthquake sensitive. I get a sensation through my body when an earthquake is about to occur. Then I check it out with the USGS.

The week of the tsunami in Japan, just before it hit, my joints were in extreme pain. While the pain abated in the joints but I got quite sharp sensations in my hips going down my legs. This was not sciatica. I felt as though something major was going to occur. Something drew me toward my Doctors Without Borders world map. I felt a pull toward Japan. I wondered about a tsunami. I didn’t think again about it until the next morning and unfortunately, found this confirmed. The sensations continue.

Now the world in which I was socialized doesn’t fit the person I am becoming. While I have always been secure in my identity, the identity no longer matters. What matters is serving the highest good.

I visited your part of the world once and loved it. My son's also trying to get his pilot's license. Some theosophical traditions suggest the ancient atlanteans used flying ships. They had the ability to use the life-force in ways we can't imagine. I've heard it suggested that ufo sightings may sometimes be 'after-images' of those.I wouldn't like to pin things down to one meaning..

Hi, Landar How cool your son

Hi, Landar

How cool your son is flying - it is the most freeing experience!

I am not sure where you are in the world as I like to envision this. The ship I saw was a 1950-60s appearing ship. It appeared to have a metallic covering, somewhat like galvanized metal with ridges.

One of the interesting things about this is that July 20 was the day my Dad died many years ago. He was a very 1950-60s man in many ways. So I have wondered about this as well.

This could be an after image. I am sure open to that or any other ideas? The whole experience continues to affect me in ways words can not describe.

incredible

my friend aubre mentions similar sensations in her body regarding earthquakes, so interesting, youre obviously incredibly in tune with the earth, and your affinity towards crystals may be a sign of that

Isn't it incredible?

The challenge to be in tuned is that you are also on the earth plane/school walking in two worlds. The earth plane doesn't fit anymore; it never did.

Aren't we lucky to have a forum in which to share all of this? Thanks for responding:)

I was in Arizona and saw a UFO for the first time. It was cool to have my UFO bubble burst--until then I was unsure of the tales. The one I saw seemed less altruistic. I wish the best for you and your path forward... it seems that you are on some journey?

The journey continues

I had visions that I was suppose to come to the mountains to heal from my divorce. There was never any question that I should be here. I've met so many wonderful people and learned a bundle from all my teachers.

What is interesting about this is that I just put the house up for sale. My adult children are beginning their families and I want to be closer to them. I am moving to the seacoast of New Hampshire to be closer to my daughter as soon as my mountain house sells. I'm excited to see what the next leg of the journey brings in New Hampshire.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. I wish the best for you as well.

Hi, Norma

Thanks for your response. I often feel my work on planet earth is near completion. None of this nonsense fits, it never did. That 2012 is just around the corner provides lots of relief. Being and finding like minded people with whom to share our experiences sure eases the way, doesn't it?

Me too

A few years back I stepped outside during a warm and sunny afternoon, and there flying over Denver in a clear blue sky was a huge black rectangle. It was actually "folding" itself over end to end while it remained on a straight course. I couldn't say for sure, but guessed it might have been about as long as a football field. It was very flat, and about three times longer than it was wide. And stark black.

I've been a UFO experiencer all my life, and have been immersed in other kinds of "paranormal" phenomena as well...and then recently, since early 2010, I became interested in predicting earthquakes. Two days before the big Japan quake of the 11th, I pre-sensed the horror and anguish that was just around the corner. The news on the 9th that the mag 7 quake that hit Japan that day didn't do any damage came as little consolation, and when I woke up on the 11th to the news of the quake and tsunami, I knew that I'd had a premonition two days prior. It was eerie. I am writing a new article to put up on my site about this, but I'm having some difficulties putting all the feelings to words.

Also, for all of my adult life I've been receiving powerful but cloaked messages about how to live in peace with the Earth. In the early 1990s I became very interested in biodiversity and became a vegetarian for about 10 years. I'm no longer vegetarian but eat little meat, mostly organic whole foods, and still see UFOs on a regular basis. I have been driven to share my insights into the connection I see between solar max/2012 and earthquakes, etc.....and I think it has to do with my encounters.

Very interesting to hear of someone else seeing what sounds like a very similar craft and having similar "side-effects," if there's truly a connection. Thanks for sharing this....

It has been challenging to

It has been challenging to find people who leave their egos behind and want to do the real work for the highest good with all of the ranges of these experiences ~ paranormal, UFO encounters/sightings, and sensitivities." It is also an honor to have all of these experiences in the first place.

The 'side effects' are a normal part of my life now. Have you attended any conferences on UFOs or worked with others in this endeavour?

Agreed

I agree, these experiences seem to honour our abilities, intentions, and gifts. For me personally, I think it has something to do with my being able to help gently open the eyes of those who are ready to see. If you want to know more about how I've shared my encounter-proneness with others, you can find a selection of articles on my website, Inter-Intelligence Communications. (Hint: use the search box, or click on the UFO and Crop Circles categories, if you're looking for the true "paranormal" stuff.)

These days, I'm rarely on Evolver (thus, it was serendipitous to find your post here), so if you'd like to correspond about this matter, please let me know and maybe we can swap e-mails.
