Leitzin, Long Term

Ok, so I've been faithfully taking about 6 Leitzin capsules a day for the past couple of weeks. I think it does have some effect, of a similar magnitude to getting some exercise.
So, do I think it's worth it? For someone like me, with only mild periods of depression, probably not. People like me can get out of their holes by working out, getting some sunshine, eating protein and nutrient rich foods, taking fish oil, or giving themselves some quiet time for meditation and contemplation. I do believe there is more than just a placebo effect here, but it's hard to tell in this completely non-scientific study I've got going on here. Show me some quality double-blind research and then we'll be talking.
However, if you're battling the type of depression that keeps you from leaving your bed, any extra help is welcome. I mean, if your depression is that serious, of course the first step is to see a psychiatrist or therapist, but keeping some Leitzin on hand in case things suddenly turn bad one day might not be a bad idea. I don't know, has anyone used it for serious depression? Time to hunt out the other Leitzin blogs...
I do feel extra motivated these days. This week I've registered for a class at community college, made a utility belt for burningman and done a bunch more bman coordination, brought some accounting work from my job home with me, registered for the GRE / borrowed a study guide from the library, and transferred my bank account to California. It might be this new highly motivated boyfriend's influence. It might be Leitzin. It might be the month of August. Who knows really, what strange invisible forces shape our lives.
