Are you kidding me...? The person who is going to take the blame for torcher is Nancy Pelosi....???? I thought I had seen it all, but I guess not.. Wow, politics is a seriously corrupt enviorment.. It must be 'pull all your hair out' frustrating..
I think that yes, Pelosi was informed.. along with others, but the question is.."was the C.I.A. waterboarding, before the senate, and house were told about it..?" I belive her that they were.. What, the C.I.A isn't capable of misleading? After the "Yellow cake,WMD's,..ect.. Are people still so jaded to think that there is not corruption in all levels of government..? It makes perfect sence to me that the C.I.A. only went to the senate/congress when they realized that they were not always going to be able to maintain secrecy.. Please, at that time.. you were"un-american" for having a different opinion about anything that the Bush administration was doing.. and Pelosi was suppose to come out with 'water boarding issues'... You still can't disagree with Bush/Cheney publicly,, and they are not even in office anymore.. It blows my mind that people get so caught up in the back and forth word battles, that they are manipulated away from the real issue.. Is this the state of politics in the U.S.? That true debate over issues, has been replaced by, who has the upper hand in the 24 hour news cycle..?

Absurd to the point of being sickening

This right wing attack on Pelosi is so absurd that I simply can not afford to upset myself over it. I should be furious, but in the end this Pelosi drama is still bringing the un-American, uncivil practices of the Bush faction into a continuing and broadening light.

Pelosi Peliesi

I agree with Mr. White. I can't let myself get upset about this whole issue. We as a race of human beings will continue to be barbaric or we will evolve. The truth will be exposed. Those who rise above the choas will change their own experience and their world. I will be in that new world, along with most of you guys.

I am not afraid of tomorrow for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

Yes,.. Your so right. Thank

Yes,.. Your so right. Thank you for taking the time to read my rant.. Peace, Abomb

I can no longer support Nancy after doing my homework on her

Here is just a few of the items that touch my nerve about her.....and these are not mine. Posted from a cycling group forum:

How can this law maker who is 3rd in line to take the presidency not take a quick exit since it lines up she is a trust risk at such an important level. She is obviously caught in playing games where she thought highlighting torture was going to work for her and having lost this game playing it can't go well for her from here.

Two officials present during the briefings in 2002 said the talks were overshadowed by fears of more terrorist attacks. "It was wartime crisis mode, and all the chatter at the time was about a 'second wave,' " said one congressional official, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the briefings were classified. "The next attack was supposed to be even bigger, and everyone was taking it very seriously." Against that backdrop, lawmakers from both parties pressed the CIA for details about what it was learning from a high-value captive: Abu Zubaida, whose real name is Zayn al-Abidin Muhammed Hussein. There was little, if any, questioning about how the information was obtained, according to the two participants. "No one in either party was questioning interrogation tactics," said the congressional official. "People from [both] parties were saying, 'Do what it takes.' Their questions were, 'Do you have the authorities you need?' and 'Are you doing enough?' "

Who wouldn't support the above breifing at the time to protect citizens no matter what was taking place. Surprised the news has not put more 9/11 family member victims on the TV to speak out about how strongly the US should pursue these terrorists and do what it takes for the next 20 years, not just for a little while or when politics wants to take over.

What i'd pay to tie Nancy to the budget meltdown in CA as well.

Yea, she is without a doubt the sorriest excuse for a politician. I remember when the democrats went on vacation and the republicans stayed because they wanted to vote on the drilling issue. She ordered the cspan camera's to leave and the lights to stay out. The republicans had to debate by candlelight. What? Is she in elementary school? That blew me away that she would or even could do that. But, what do you expect from san francisco. From what I've heard. The most likely candidate to replace here seat is that crazy lady who camped ouside Bush's ranch. I don't think that's going to be an improvement.
