State of Being.

When conditions are just right, and everything is set in the proper place, and your mind just clicks into the correct atmosphere…a certain state of consciousness is reached. Once reaching this higher plane, identity has no bearing on your thought process. You are no longer you. This is a grand feeling. To no longer feel as if you are John or that you are Tony or whoever you are is one of the purest notions of bliss that can be attained. No constant sorrow about what the past has dredged up, no hysteria about what the future will bring, only a state of living in the present. Your voice doesn’t sound like your own, you cannot quite remember who you really are, you are just living in a state of pure energy, a state of being if you will. You are just existing, and existence is wonderful indeed. I have experienced this first hand. To feel like a being of pure emotion is near indescribable. Thoughts flare into existence as quickly as they simmer into a mire of a shrouded haze. You are you in your ultimate form, a form that no longer care about what anyone else says..one that lives as if nothing society dictates matters, living for joy, for ecstasy, for knowledge. You forget all about the insignificant squabbles with your petty “enemies” and focus in on what really matters. What matters pray tell? “Why?” A simple word isn’t it, but the ramifications are intriguing beyond all other aspects of life. Why do we humans try to appear strong, why do we feel the need to feed our ego, why does reality feel much less real than dreams, why do we turn death into something we need to fear, why is everybody and everything so plastic and fake, why do we do what we do, why must the world feel the need to take innocence, why do all the swine of the world oppress our happy tranquility, why the fuck don’t we just abandon these cryptic, over worn cities and blissfully return to roving bands of nomads? It is easy to question, much harder to find answers. When you lose yourself within yourself, the answers that come are the most true of all.

dissolved in oceanic feeling
I love the description of becoming oceanic feeling. To melt... to be nothing, yet complete. The image you've posted reminds me of something I think I read in a Michael Newton book, about someone recalling in between lives going to a star and becoming the flames there. It sounded so exhilarating, to be surges of pure fire energy.
As for the whys... sometimes I get really excited about why I have to be trapped in a body in this reality at all! But I can go float around to other possibilities when I die, so I try to shift my perception from my body being a prison to my body being a special opportunity to experience a very specific reality.
Thinking more about the whys, it is funny when I am able to look at all my cares from a different consciousness. I look at them as such rigid blockages, but they become so trivial in just a different point of view. It's like looking down at a mouse in a maze. The maze is so real to the mouse, but from a higher perspective you can see where it is, the path it needs to take, and the rest of the room, and the context that the room is just one tiny part of the town... Anyway, thanks for the mental visit to the unified feeling.
