The New Insidious Human Religion

We stand at a point in our history where it seems like we, as a species are hurtling towards the complete destruction of our own Mother Earth.
We rape the lands, consume Earth's resources at a staggering rate, yet the majority of humanity seems ignorant of the consequences. The main reason for the uninterrupted systematic evisceration of our planet is the very fact that we, as a people have bought into and actively encourage "Corporate Mentality".
As insidious a foe as mankind has ever faced, corporations have taken the throne in society that religion once ruled.
Corporations are inherently evil entities. If we were to psycho-analyse a corporation, judging it the way we would judge any other human on our planet, we get the following results...
The corporation is irresponsible because in an attempt to satisfy the corporate goal, everybody else is put at risk.
Corporations try to manipulate everything, including public opinion.
Corporations are grandiose, always insisting that "we're number one, we're the best."
Corporations refuse to accept responsibility for their own actions and are unable to feel remorse.
Corporations destroy rival corporations, the ones they do not destroy, they consume.
The corporation is a crazy sociopath because it suffers from a multi-personality disorder, a clash between the individuals within the corporation and the collective personality they form.
Corporations steal, they plunder, they rob and they do it without remorse, without consideration, their only thoughts being the prize before them.
Yet, each and every person who works for a corporation, by virtue of working there, aids the corporation in it's goals, despite their protestations that they don't buy into the corporate lifestyle. They go along with it because, partially, they've been brainwashed into doing so. Each and every person who works for a corporation (and in truth nearly 99% of the workforce do) goes through "Initiation", they're told about the corporate manifesto, they're given materials with the corporate logo, the symbol, the sigil of the corporation. They become indoctrinated the way a member of a cult does. Each and every week they attend meetings, each month they may attend section meetings where the CEO appears and preaches the desires of the Corporation to consume more materials and encroach on other corporations territory, to invade other countries. There's probably food there, people become more pliable and suggestible when they are eating, their resistances are lowered. Eventually they work for the 'good of the Corporation' in the delusion that they'll be rewarded when the time comes (which they never are). Corporations consume peoples lives, the corporate workers give their precious time furthering the goals of the corporation. The corporation then extends the working week to suck more of the workers life-force from them. Eventually, when the worker is of little use, it discards them, broken, old, useless; the gift of a gold watch or a gift certificate and a promise of "pop in any time you like" knowing it'll never have to see that person again in return for 40 years of wage slavery.
So we worship at the table of the corporation, the new religion. The corporate sigil is the same as the symbol of any religion. Christians have the cross, Jewish people have the Star of David, McDonalds has the golden arches.
In the corporations case the symbol is often a concentration of a key word or an intent, hence the McDonalds arches, it condenses their name into one symbol, the 'M' which is then used in branding, marketing, popping up in billboards, assaulting our minds in the many advertisements on TV, subliminally influencing us form birth. How many kids love going to McDonalds yet actually don't enjoy the foods? I know my kid hates the chicken nuggets there but still asks to go back each and every time...
A corporations main goal is to re-shape the world in it's own image. To an extent they have already done this. Everywhere we look these days all we see is corporate symbols, they have infested our reality and we've let them. We've stood aside and listened to their promises, their lies and let them take our rainforests, let them kill our oceans, let them pollute our air.
They are killing our species slowly but surely and we're doing nothing about it. We daren't speak out against it lest it destroys us. It's a huge parasite, any who stand against it are generally sued, broken, destroyed. The biggest corporations can do this on a national, even world-wide scale, bullying entire peoples, entire countries, bending them to its will.
It is my belief that if mankind continues down this path, we won't have a planet worth living on. We won't have any oceans to swim in, we won't have any forests for our animal brethren to live in, we wont have any air worth breathing.
We have to protect our planet.

Well written...
Thanks Tom for sharing this as the mask of the corporate entity that has no conscience or soul and could care less about the planet, environment, humanity, etc...is surely hurtling towards self suicide!!!
Mothers' Night cascading
Mothers' Night
cascading shards
uneasy
echoes falling
"It's our calling."
Rape of Earth,
hot spurts of words
savage knives
Abiding Mothers,
sacred and mundane
twist into harridan
cold stars
wail, hurtling waves
Sad, old, crust of ages
sliced, screwed, carved up for profit
"It's not the color of the skin,
the culture of the smile"
the scent of danger,
the inborn stranger --
all excuses for Us (superior)
and Them (inferior)
"They are not like we;
but lower curs."
we may harm with unfettered glee
Cursed to be cut to our requirement.
Borders clear
"Here, fear fences in
our livelihood and wives."
Leave THEM to putrid pits
cunning jabs,
our pleasure.
Thus, all treasure that might regale,
heal, reveal true worth,
of man and Earth
sold for pittance of potash
to dance a weary jig

And so it was revealed to
And so it was revealed to me, that god is not a male person at all, verily she is not even a grownup. The goddess of goddesses is a little girl, so small indeed, she does not grow a single hair between her holy and virginal legs...
Maybe not all are equally evil: we all use the software of Microsoft and the chips of Intel in this very moment, yes?
Yet Monsanto is for example a really dangerous entity trying to control the food supplies of the planet!
So instead of fighting against all corporations, we better select the real evil ones first and concentrate on those.
I agree with you about
I agree with you about psychoanalyzing everything in a logical manner.
A couple of things I've noticed that I also saw in your Blog, is that in a sense a corporations is a system. For instance the corporations, in a symbolic sense, can't feel remorse for polluted chemicals because it's really whats programmed into this system. Some types of business differ because they don't grow infinitely bigger, and maximize profit and efficiency like corporations do. A corporation seeks only to maximize profit and expand ever bigger. In a figurative sense, you could say it's like a machine.
