Raw?

This week has been very strange.

I've been re-reading Cosmic Trigger and have gotten heavily into it. For those who may not have read this essential tome, it's basically an autobiographical account of Robert Anton Wilson's exporaiton of the world of the occult and the strange things he experienced and learned.

A huge part of the book is dedicated to synchronicity, or the appearance of strange co-incidences - from the 23 enigma to the constant cropping up of the star Sirius in RAW's life.

Since I've been reading it, I've seen some very strange synchronicity happening in my life. Today being a prime example.

Got on the train to my day job at precisely 7:23am. Sat next to a man who was the spitting image of Robert Anton wilson, greying mane of hair, twinkling eyes and goatee beard. Got off the train and saw a bus by the number of 23 passing me by.

On the way home, not one but two men, almost identically looking like Robert Anton Wilson got on my train at exactly 5pm (anyone who follows Bob WIlson will know that the number 5 is a sacred number for Discordians, 2+3=5).

Perhaps I'm just noticing these things because I'm reading this book, but as Bob points out in the book, perhaps i'm tuned into a cosmic consciousness that's sending me messages precisely BECAUSE i'm reading this book? Am I going crazy? Am I being mentally manipulated by the Idreaded lluminati?

Who knows..?

But it sure is fun, and in Bob Wilson's world, that's the most important part of it all.
