Bio: I grew up on the Atlantic coast of Long Island, New York. I've also lived in Florida and New Hampshire. I've been doing art for all of my life. I started drawing when I was young, and I took private art lessons from age 11 until I was 14. In high school, I took painting classes and started to learn mechanical drawing and graphic design. I became very interested in the psychedelic art of the time, especially the work of some of the San Francisco artists, Peter Max, Roger Dean and others. I went to college for design, and started working in the field as a technical illustrator for an engineering company in Florida where my Dad worked. From there, I drifted back to New York, where I've been doing design work for book, magazine and newspaper publishers, and the music business. I became involved in the anti-war movement in 2003 when the war in Iraq began, going to rallies, and eventually becoming a member of Greene Dragon, a group of activists who did street theater around the time of the RNC in 2004. I've exhibited my paintings and prints in group shows and galleries in Southampton; Long Island City, Queens; and New Orleans, LA. I'm currently living in Queens, New York and working in Manhattan as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator.
