The Flow of Summer

Evolvers in Long Beach have been exploring the universe, water, and action, this Summer, and it's all flowed and come together in magical ways!

We've explored "Life in the Universe," discussing sound and vibration and enjoying the sounds of Familiar Trees and a slew of talent from our corner of the galaxy, raising funds for our new time bank and The Infinite Yoga center.

We've also participated in "Take 5 For The Gulf," a healing meditation for the Gulf of Mexico. Tom Sky made a beautiful video for us, in which you get to know some of our core Evolvers in Long Beach and hear their perspectives.

Soon after, we participated in a creative protest of the Hyatt in Long Beach, which was reported on by Greater Long Beach. In a turn of synchronicity, the protest ended up involving both prayer and water, and I ended up speaking from inside the lobby about the injustices to workers human rights.

The next event is "Water: Know The Flow" on Saturday, August 14th from 12-3pm, at Colorado Lagoon.

This spore will explore the flow of water through Long Beach, and will consist of a colorado lagoon restoration project informational nature walk followed by a group discussion with experts in marine biology, conservation and restoration, art, and healing vibratory work.
