if they existed as niether male or female then why would sex be nessecary? From what I understand organisms that do not have gender would not require the act of copulation, or even union.
Just saying... who are these guys, and why should I trust what they have to say?

my point was, no gender, no need for sex, no need for replication. sex is used for the purpose of reproduction. sexual pleasure is a tactic utilized by some organisms to continue reproducing regardless of the out come (screaming babies, child birth, poop) and not all organisms utilize this tactic, for example female cats do not derive physical pleasure from reporduction or intercoarse but are hormonally driven to do so any way, their inner lining of the reproductive organ is torn out by tiny barbs on the male genitals. Any one who has heard cats breeding in their ally ways know that it sounds more like a battle then sex. I am glad your not channeling the cat tribes! lol

yes, cats unfortunately don't have much fun at it. however, if you've ever had a bird (i have several) they masterbate all the time. one of those things the don't tell you when you bring home your adorable baby parrot. "by the way, in about 5-6 years, Polly will bt humping anything she can get at, will find her favorites and pleasure herself throughout the day." they seem to get quite a kick out of it.
of course it's for re[roduction purposes, but say we evolve passed that kind of reproduction method and keep the pleasure of sex. now pair that with the emotional, mental and spiritual pleasure and we've transcendended the normal sexual experience and get closer to what tantra refers to as the cosmic orgasm, the orgasm with the cosmos.
