In a strange world of synchronicities things are never what they really appear.
one chance meeting might end up with interesting circumstances and another might not lead to anything at all.
but the truth is that as a traveler of life, we have to be open to all of these possibilities.
the ebb and flow of the energies around us, the natural energies of the earth, the electronic and digital energies of our numerous devices, the subtler energies of each and every living being all create a webwork of signals and signs that influence us in certain ways. imperceptibly we are guided, perhaps on a neurological level, perhaps even deeper than that, to go somewhere, to look up at a certain moment, to become aware at a specific time when somehow we are "supposed" to see something, feel something or someone.
the more open we are, the more these moments become apparent to us.
the more we attempt to experience the world around us, the more significant the very world itself becomes.
things begin to beckon to us, to shine brighter than objects around it, to pop into our head at the opportune moment.
this is all a part of becoming more connected to the vast and subtle geometry that makes up creation. we are naturally a part of this geometry but because we are so closed to what is around us, we don't realize how inextricably linked we truly are. i don't know if synchronicities are not just realizations of our inter-connectivity, that instead of being occurrences that happen to us, are situations that reveal the deeper levels of existence, the embedded grace and order within the kosmos.
it seemed to me before that synchronicity was something that happened when you became more open and consciously aware and somehow through this process things would fall into place the "way it should be." perhaps, instead of being something that happens, it is more something is revealed. it seems to me that i've noticed a directional shift with synchronicity. i used to consider as if i was looking up and it manifested. now, it's as if i'm looking down, or in, and it is something that opened up and revealed. synchronicity is a part of the inter-dimensional lattice that binds our various worlds together and the more we become aware, the more we embrace an evolution of consciousness, the more the sacred space-time continuum is illuminated before us.
there is something quantum about these connections, these moments. something that seems to exit our dimensions and come back through from a different entry point, as if going through a virtual mobius and bringing us to a specific point of clarity, a place, either physical, mental or emotional, that seems like we were meant to be there, a place that perhaps we already knew existed within us somewhere, ushered in with the understanding that we are exactly where we need to be at that specific moment.
it is sacred, wondrous, surprising, and life affirming. perhaps there is a way to live every moment in that condition. perhaps that is enlightenment? perhaps that is simple evolving consciously to our next stage of existence.

Duly noted :) sometimes writing mediated by Word takes more to get to than the immediacy of the idea i want to get out. I will be more mindful of that though. Thanks for letting me know!

Inter-dimensional lattice

Lovely writing, very Joyceian. Inter-dimensional lattice...yeah know just what you mean. Synchronicities seem to come in clusters for me, like lucid dreams and deja vu. Haven't had any for a while...not Big Ones anyway.

thank you

that was beautiful

it's a funny thing

for me at least, the more i notice synchronicities, the more they happen. even the little ones always blow my mind. i think we can never really take any of them for granted, no matter how minor, because it is still something to take note of. it's the universe pointing at something and making us pay attention. Perhaps it's that all of those little ones add up to a big one, who knows.
They definitely come in clusters. Personally i've been on one giant synchronicity spark since moving to where i am now. it dies down a bit then suddenly i feel like i'm under some giant cosmic microscope where i can't do anything that somehow isn't synchronous or an odd coincidence worth noting.

inter-dimensional lattice. yes exactly. :) hmm, that just gave me an idea for a new post. . . . :)

back to what i wrote before though. i think taking note of the little things, the coincidences, the synchronicities is also a way of staying in perpetual wonderment. there's the buddhist notion that one should always be a student of life and regard everything with a child-like fascination and interest. that means we engage ourselves with the mundane, the everyday, and we marvel at its nature, at its beingness. every coincidence, every synchronicity should come as an utter surprise in one sense, because how boring would life be if we come to take those things for granted? how boring would life be if we took anything at all for granted? perhaps counting or rather, taking into account, the coincidences could be a practice in it of itself. i believe it somehow dislodges our sense of what is "normal" and "expected" and helps us live slightly more on the razor's edge.
dunno. just some stuff i'm thinking about right now. :)
