Spiritual Acceleration and Instant Karma can only be enjoyed when we stay centered in self love and non avoidance of our emotions. Grounding is essential for this centering. We are always creating our reality. The question is whether we do so consciously or through our unresolved issues and reactivity.

It is becoming ever more apparent to more and more of us that we are the creators of our lives. The idea of Karma, that the energy we put out has a direct bearing on what we manifest in our world, is becoming more widely accepted in Western society than ever before, mainly because we are experiencing Karma more and more in our daily lives. Karma's boomerang effect is speeding up. This is occurring during a period of spiritual acceleration that is challenging old, limiting concepts of self. So, we are simultaneously seeing the potential for creating within our lives more consciously than ever before while, at the same time, seeing the need to clear away forms of conditioning that are no longer useful.

It is not possible or desirable to master conscious manifestation when we embody forms of reactive conditioning that have us behave in automatic/unconscious ways. In an age of instant Karma, all of our reactivity is reflected back to us unambiguously, like never before. The temptation to stay ungrounded and avoid ourselves is becoming increasing untenable as we see the results of our avoidance coming straight at us like a runaway train.

Grounding is the basis of this work of Transformatology(R) and is constantly returned to and reinforced no matter what higher levels of conscious manifestation are achieved. Grounding is about being completely present to whatever is arising, both in the outer and inner worlds. Not only is it important to be present mentally but we must also fully experience the emotions we would rather avoid if we don't want them coming at us as unwanted events. The outer world is one of manifested phenomena and the inner world is where the inspiration and intuition emerge to direct the outward manifestations. We are the meeting point between the two.

So, sitting at this point of power, most people experience unpredictable, uncontrolled cyclical states of emotional reactivity. Our constant emotional fluctuations cause a loss of focus which means that there is less consciousness available for creating our divinely-inspired dreams. And even when amazing things are created, the emotional fluctuations make it difficult to enjoy and build upon our creations. When we cannot fully feel what we have created and enjoy our accomplishments, we tend to self-sabotage. We see success as an accident or just luck and we see struggle as our base reality.

Grounding is about being centered and present to what is going on both internally and externally. It can be hard and requires patience and a lot of self love. Without grounding, intuition and inspiration are freak events to be gazed at mysteriously. Intuition and inspiration are seen as separate from one’s true nature. In a grounded state, intuition and inspiration are the building blocks of creativity and arise naturally in the body. They are natural raw materials for creating consciously. It takes grounding to see an opportunity. It takes grounding to stay focused on manifesting that reality into physical existence. And it takes grounding to be able to integrate the growth that has been achieved by creating something entirely new.

What pulls us out of grounding is the avoidance, again, of negative emotion. But we are the ones bringing up that emotion in the first place. So, why are we avoiding it? The answer, I argue, is lack of self love. You have an inner child crying within you and your response is to ignore it or tell it to shut up. It may go away for a while but as long as it remains unhealed, its energy will be broadcast to the universe and it will come back as a perhaps unwanted part of your reality.

Simple Steps to Start Getting Grounded:
1. Look at people directly when you speak with or listen to them.
2. Avoid multitasking. Do one thing at a time and give it your full attention.
3. Feel your feet. Notice, you have feet. Let your awareness go there from time to time.
4. Feel your butt in the chair when you sit down and feel your feet on the ground. Just take a moment to do this, especially before making a telephone call.
5. Welcome all emotions that come up. Slow down and ask them quietly within what they need from you. You may be surprised at the simplicity of the answer and the speed emotional healing can take place.

Back to Basics

Great advice! Society want's our instant attention all the time, and I know I sometimes feel guilty when I try to focus on one thing at a time - Some times I ask "why?" What is wrong with focus and deliberate attention to one thing in the moment?
