My friends and I went to Surfside this past Labor Day. The three of us wanting to go for our own reasons. I myself wanted to gather inspiration from the power of the ocean and the beauty of the stars in order to make some new music. My friend B came to simply observe and gather energy for himself. My friend J went only because B and I persuaded him to. We are a trio as of now, our bands name is Everything All at Once. We enjoy using psychedelics as a way of becoming instantly enlightened if you will. My friend B is and always has been a medium and therefore spends most of his time in the astral plane of existence which is totally interesting to me. My friend J is a Reiki healer and a very active conspiracy theorist. And I am on my path to the top of the mountain, trying to maintain a certain cosmic feeling and direction in my life. I had never been blasted into the spirit world so quickly. Sacred geometry could be seen in every single thing from the Star of David in the sea foam, to elegant royal tapestries in the sand. Only when I looked up and out did my mind body and spirit become overwhelmed with the infinite.
I totally meditate and work with my chakras through out each day but sometimes i really enjoy a nice ten hour trip of spiritual evolution. I know it is definitely a short cut to an earned inner peace and light but I tend to also see many therepeutic qualities from each experience.
Despite times of total awe, we managed to make our own drum circle with a Toca drum I purchased not too long ago. ( one of my most favoritist buys ). I can see how shamans used and use the beat of a drum to stir up and direct the consciousness of others. The drum beats took me from phonon to photon to my own DNA being charged with this healing electricity. My thoughts were stated quickly and precise and as loudly and comfortably as possible within my imagination.
I did wind up losing my car, house and work keys in the ocean but this last weekend was truly a healing weekend.
