Evolver Salt Lake: Mystery of Dreams Series

In wanting to get a sense for what's happening with Evolver networlds - I thought it might be useful to post here about what Evolver Salt Lake has planned for the Mystery of Dreams (I'd be interested in what other groups are doing):

We'll be having three events as part of a Mystery of Dreams series. We've tied into an art exhibit at UAA called Plastic World, created by local artist Derek Dyer. Participants in the series can study dreams through film, conversation, performance art and workshops where we will create Dream Catchers and Dream Journals. We are charging a small supply fee for the workshops ($5 each).
Operating through full disclosure - here's what that $5 will do:
Up front: 10% as a donation in support of Evolver.net (so as to involve Evolver Salt Lake a supportive 'member' of the Evolver network)
Next, we cover our literal material costs (supplies for the workshops - we are working to repurpose material, find donations, etc.)
Any remainder will be donated to UAA for the Light Forms art project; a community project - also featured on Evolver.net. Contributions will be handled through the Utah Arts Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit group dedicated to the support of art in all forms.

The goal is to offer affordable, interesting, participatory events that involve local community groups & members and create action as well as dialog around the Evolver.net movement.
All the while, we are working to build momentum around All Nations Prayer Day in September 2010.

Here's the Series Schedule:

April 14th, 6-9p, Theatre of Film (movie tba) along with a Dream Catcher workshop*
April 21st, 6-7p, Evolver Discussion on the Mystery of Dreams with a guided Peace Meditation
May 12th, 6-9pm Live Theatre Performance (modern dance, etc.) along with a Dream Journal workshop*
*workshops carry $5 fee

I'll continue to post updates about how this series works.
