Following up on the Love Spore

Again, I'd like to let everyone know what is happening in the City of Salt. This event is in follow up to the Love Spore last February. Many members of our community are interested in further discussion and practices related to the topic of modern Love. In answer to this, we've created an Urban Retreat.

Registration fees for this retreat cover space use fees as well as presenter and material costs (there will be handouts and homework given to participants as well as a limited number of promotional fliers). As with the Dream series, 10% of revenue will be donated in support of Evolver.net. Any remaining amount will be donated to UAA in support of the Light Forms art project (also a featured project on Evolver.net). We need 14 individuals or 7 pairs registered to cover our up front costs.

“LOVE” an Urban Retreat in Two Parts
Presented by Live-On-Purpose.net in cooperation with Evolver Salt Lake, Utah Arts Alliance and Flow Yoga.

Come participate as modern Love and Love relationships are illuminated, explored, talked about and worked on in both meditative and somatic ways. Learn to understand the role of Love in life through in-depth practices designed to heighten and embody Love as a part of ourselves.

About our presenters:

Sunny Strasburg adheres to the philosophy that merging mind, body and spirit facilitates the deepest, long-term change. This in turn, opens us to live our lives fully engaged, excited and with a sense of purpose. Sunny has a Master of Arts degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in Depth and Jungian Psychotherapy. She is an artist as well as an avid fitness enthusiast. Sunny has facilitated psychotherapy groups, families, individuals and women with issues such as addiction, dream analysis, gender identity, eating disorders, grief and loss and bringing love and excitement back into marriages and individual lives.
Sunny has hosted and produced events such as Mindbender at the Sundance Film Festival, The White Party, Big Mind with Genpo Roshi, Conscientia and Workshop with Daniel Pinchbeck. She has created, presented and facilitated An Alchemical Gender Circle and other workshops throughout the United States. Demi Langford
Demi has been practicing various styles of yoga for over ten years. She was led to yoga after a series of injuries, both physically and emotionally. Like Osho says, “You can enter yoga, or the path of yoga only when you are totally frustrated with your own mind as it is.”
