HarmoNYom "A Voice for Indian Classical Music"!

In 2008, driven by her passion for music, Veronique Lerebours founded HarmoNYom, an organization based in New York & dedicated to the love of Indian Classical Music!

When continents meet!
HarmoNYom seeks to serve as a “Voice” and platform for the world-renowned Indian Classical Maestros, as well as the emerging talents; a platform where musicians can bring forth enhanced exposure, awareness and appreciation of the rich Indian traditional music’s legacy and share their own dedication for music with a diverse and larger audience interested in preserving the Indian culture outside of India!

We strongly believe that Indian Classical Music is now spreading his own aisles all over the globe and continually attracting a very large interest among the enthusiastic New Yorkers (Indian and non-Indian)!
Our mission it to create a bridge for Peace between all Continents and to facilitate musicians, promoters, organizers, schools, teachers... and all professionals in the field, to stay constantly connected with all Lovers of Indian Classical Music!

As of today, HarmoNYom has attracted over 5000 members all over the world:
- E-marketing newsletter for New York Concerts & Events since July 2007

- Support for the All Night Concerts NY 2008 & 2009
- May 2008 Sponsor for "Chhandayan All Night Concert" documentary produced by Sandi Higgins
- February 2009 HarmoNYom is a New York Foundation for the Arts sponsored project (www.NYFA.org)
- April 24 2009, Veronique received a special recognition by The City Council of NY in City Hall for her contribution to the Indian Community in New York.
- April 28 2009 - www.HarmoNYom.org is launched
- May 17 2009 HarmoNYom is officially launched
- July 1 2009, HarmoNYom- New Jersey is on Facebook
- October 11 2009, HarmoNYom co-promoted, in association with the SPK Academy, Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan's concert in New York.
