Brahman Awareness

It strikes me that the notion of the Brahman Dream is deeper form of solipsism and a key to understanding the duality of the mind and perceived body. Embracing this belief brings about curiosity as to just how much agency one has to alter reality with the power of belief. There is certainly a grounding force that seems to limit this capability. Personally, it makes me wonder whether individuals have the full capacity to alter reality, but merely have no recollection of it.
I also tend to wonder whether the mind or spirit can travel beyond its corporeal bonds and have memories from transient states or whether consciousness outside of the carnal vessel simply exists without the capacity to form memories. The latter being the case sense memories are formed by the brain. Intuitively, I feel as though there is an underlying agency to alter reality and for the mind to travel beyond the body, at the very least during sleep.
I also get the intuitive sense that even when one alters reality, it may perhaps be altered in expected ways but may take on unexpected flaws (the work of Kali Yuga no doubt). I get the feeling that these flaws most likely reside around karmic struggles of the individual. It would seem that the only way of making true progress towards transcending maya, is not by altering reality, but by confronting obstacles of one's karmic battles. This process might allow the individual to reach a state of contentedness and end the seeking impulse.
In conclusion, this brings about one fundamental question. Can an individual prosper most by entering into a state of absolute contentment even in present conditions or is the drive to attain deeper fulfillment more rewarding? After all, wouldn't stagnant passivity be considered an inept approach to development? Perhaps the key is a delicate balance of contentment with one's progress and the effortless motivation to journey forward. Life is full of perplexing paradoxes, yet more clarity tends to arise as a harmonious balance is cultivated.

Wow! Love your graphic. You
Wow! Love your graphic. You have a wonderful ability to ask the important questions.
The many paths to enlightenment each seem to have a distinctive way of channeling creative energy and our perspective of the Whole. For many (24 years) my perspective was that of a yogi. During that quarter century in the ashram I practiced kundalini yoga four hours a day and worked 60 to 80 hour weeks. Many blissful experiences of chakras opening did not rid me of heavy energy from this and past lives.
Apprenticing as a shaman I have learned to use the technique of "journeying" so that my mind and spirit travel beyond corporeal bonds and retain memories from this transient state. Not only does journeying have an effect on my own healing but that of others. This is the same kind of trance state that Edgar Cayce used. To journey with positive surroundings and outcome there are certain things one must do.
Shamanic journeying is not just a way to alter reality; it strengthens the energy body. This is part of our evolution into homo luminous, as well as living in balance--with ourselves, the opposite sex and the Earth. Or as you put it "more clarity tends to arise as a harmonious balance is cultivated."
