Sungazing: What The Hell

Hira Ratan Manek, among others, have proven that a person can live just on solar energy for very long periods without eating any food. This has come to be known as the HRM phenomenon. The method is used for curing all kinds of psychosomatic, mental and physical illnesses as well as increasing memory power and mental strength by using sunlight. One can get rid of any kind of psychological problems, and develop confidence to face any problem in life and can overcome any kind of fear including that of death within 3 months after starting to practice this method. As a result, one will be free from mental disturbances and fear, which will result in a perfect balance of mind. If one continues to apply the proper sungazing practice for 6 months, they will be free from physical illnesses. Furthermore, after 9 months, one can eventually win a victory over hunger, which disappears by itself thereafter.

He sounds legit, but it's also too good to be true. Does anyone know anything about this? Any personal experience?

living on the sun

a few weeks ago a good friend of mine mentioned to me that it possible to feed your body by gazing into the sun, and its been on my mind ever since. thank you for the link and blog, because before now, i thought my friend might be a little crazy. i have always been attracted to the sun and sometimes find myself staring at it...i was told as a child it would ruin my eye sight...but i'm not so sure anymore, since my vision is 20/20 thus far. i will say it does put me in the moment and fills my body with a wonderful energy. but i think this is a very interesting subject and it should be researched more. sorry i could not be of much help. but one must wonder why god/nature would provide us with such a beautiful, alluring, life giving, bright star in the sky if we were not meant to gaze at it.

yo yo

i came across sunstaring last november. me and my friend jc were on a road trip and on the way back from florida we stopped in at warren wilson college in north carolina to chill out with these kids we had met on the way down the coast. we spent a day out in this field on a trampoline and at one point i noticed tyler looking and said to him 'are you staring at the sun' to which he explained to me the ancient practice. that day i stared a bit especially at the sunset.

i looked it up a bit and came across HRM who says that it is meant to be an hour after dawn or the hour before sunset, when the rays are not as intense, and start 10 seconds at a time , adding ten seconds each time. if you ever feel any kind of discomfort, dont do it.

i had a somewhat routine going last early spring thru mid summer. i built my time up to one minute. i have always had decent eyesight never wore glasses, and my eyes are ok now. the only time i know they got fucked was when i was typing a bunch of papers in school and staring at a computer screen.

the further i got into my routine the more i felt this craving for it, and it felt amazing to stare and let the pineal gland awaken.

HRM says once you get up to an hour , then you are 'fully charged' and to keep this charge you only need to walk barefoot on bare sunwarmed ground or mud. i am not in a great location to stare, no best horizon spot.

i also felt it was best to stare as late as possible when it is closest to the horizon.

since this time and starting after the first time i tried it, i have had several dreams where i see the sun and it is in prime time to stare, a deep orange or a deep red. its like something latent was awakened in me and is trying to tell me, keep sunstaring. as a matter of fact, i had one the night before last night.

when i saw your blog i was really glad and realized i hadnt seen anything here about sunstaring and couldnt believe i hadnt thought to post one myself.

i would say, definitely go for it, try to get into a safe routine, dont blink, do it in bare feet, trance out when you do it, let it come telepathically, the sun is a teacher.

hope this helped, let me know how it goes please

Through the Sun.

Yes the sun is a being. The sun is the only way out of here, the only place parasites can't follow. Sigil of Ameth, 7 spins outside, 5 spins inside, creates the perfect turning inside out. Also the Anu particle.

From Laziness to patience to patients to patents

we're not autotrophs

But see my most recent blog post =)

"There is no final revolution. Revolutions are infinite."

okkk

ok, this is just a movie, and of course, he stared at the sun when it was bright, he wasnt following sunstaring practices.

nobody ever said stare at the sun at high noon.

sunstaring is an ancient practice. nobody said to just stare and never eat again.
it is a spiritual practice that can and i believe should be integrated into our lives

and nobody said we were autotrophs neither

actually

proven that a person can live just on solar energy for very long periods without eating any food.

That would imply we ARE autotrophs

"There is no final revolution. Revolutions are infinite."

In biology what is the

In biology what is the lowest form of energy the cells use? IR light. Food ultimately gets converted into IR light. It has been shown that meditation alone can produce IR light. Currently we are all parasites, we can't even create our own internal food, but are destiny is to metabolize star light directly;)

yo

fractal bob knows his SHIT right here

ya, ya

yes that statement would imply such. but nobody said sunstaring was for humans an autotrophic process, there is something to it, it is an ancient practice, and like i said, it works well with eating too

HRM specifically says that he isnt saying stop eating. simply integrate the practice into your life.

and if it is not for you, it is not for you

but there is something to it, its good for the pineal

Awesome!

I've often thought this to be the case in some way. Solar energy is so elemental, it controls so much in our spirit and our matter. It is life; heat and light.

Love that bit in Pi too though, such a great film! Its an insightful movie.

As for being autotrophs, we probably are on some level. We have the capacity to access the information held in every atom in our bodies and by extension the universe, so anything is possible really. This sort of level of course takes practice, dedication and understanding of what I'm not surprised to learn is an ancient practice. We have the potential for that level of integration. In this current stage of our evolution however, it takes time and deep wisdom.

Love to try this though. Great post!

And if all else fails there

And if all else fails there is always vertical gene transfer through biosemiotics!;)

http://www.thothweb.com/content-506.html Site seems to be down at the moment.

Heres the pdf version of it: http://www.isisthesis.com/H05_1815_BiosemioticsinAncientEgyptianTexts2_f...
Horizontal gene transfer is between the same species while Vertical gene transfer is between different species. That means we can exchange genetic material with bacteria or say...a camel!! Woot woot;)

I tried it today

It felt great, I'll keep doing it as much as I can until I find a problem with it. All organic energy on this planet is sun energy, but I have no idea how the eye-brain organ could store and use the incoming energy. Still, the body is a pretty amazing thing, and I could see it finding a way to do so.

However, I do enjoy food... and even if we can't become solar panels, a daily communion with our star is something we could all learn a lot from.

Let's get sungazin'

While the veil is thin..

This also works with the moon. It's an almost full hunter's moon in Aries tonight. try it!

tonight?

Tonight as in the 31? or the 1st of nov?
Feedback=Self Awareness=Fractality.

That was the night of the 31st

Today, Nov 2nd, is the actual full moon in Taurus. And it's looking like clear skies again!

thank you evolvers...

since i read this blog a few days back and visited the solar-healing website. i have been following its process of sun gazing. its only been a few days but the immediate results are awesome. the practice put I in a meditative trance, and afterwards i have a clear mind i am full of energy, and very aware. i will continue the practice and i suspect it will bring health, happiness and love into every life that embraces it. the sun is a powerful and beautiful star that gives us life and inspires all earth's creation.
after my first sun gazing experience i was moved to write
a blog about my experience...it came out more poetic than
i intended but i just let it out the way it came.

5+ year veteran of SGing

Sungazing HRM method is something I have done for 5+ years. It is incredibly relaxing and when you have done it for a while, you get a new vision - physical and otherwise.

It's not a fast food and it is something that takes practice, but I guarantee that if you do it without fear and don't step out of the bounds of the basic HRM method that you will get results on multiple levels - whatever your soul wants you to have.

Sungazing

Instead of being frightened by the idea of looking at the sun consider what is in HRM sungazing:
1. Looking at the sun at sunset or sunrise- essentially sunset sungazing or sunrise sungazing. Who hasn't done that at the beach or lake on a warm summer evening? What harm can come from doing something you have already done many times in your life without any problem?
2. Standing barefoot on dirt or sand. Nothing possibly wrong there either.
3. Barefoot walking on bare earth or sand..That's just walking on the beach or in the country barefoot. When it gets cool or cold, you eliminate the barefoot stuff.
4. Sunbasking for half an hour or so in warm but not very hot sun. Just good old sunbathing, something you should do anyway to get Vitamin D..
5. Drinking suncharged water, or water which has been out in the sun. Drinking warm water.. how damaging can that be?

More to the point- what does this cost you? Not a cent.
Any problems in doing it? None. You do it in your home area at your convenience.
How much time does it take? Just seconds in the beginning, then a few minutes later. Once you're past the 44 minute section, you're good for life, except for a short occasional session with the sun of 20 minutes or so.
Who's making money out of this HRM sungazing. Nobody.
Is there any proof it can work? Look at Hira. Read the report by the panel of Indian doctors. Send him an email and ask him- he replies to all emails.

So to round it off, what do you have to lose? Nothing. What do you have to gain? Your health, at no cost, no doctors, no drugs, no guru to salute, no exercise program, no lifestyle change.

that was my reaction when I first heard HIra six years ago. My kind of guy, I said. Been with the system since then, and you can't get me off this wagon. Got my body back, much of my health back, lost my paunch, and gained so much more.

I like your logic Ramjag

Several months ago I was reading a book that suggested sungazing is not only not harmful, but extremely beneficial - that in fact we have been fooled into believing that the sun is harmful in many different ways. That clicked at an intuitive level and a few weeks later I found myself spontaneously gazing at the sun (slightly filtered thru brilliant fall foliage). The experience was, well, illuminating - yet I felt the pull of consensus reality - you'll go blind dipshit! Serendipitously, I came upon this thread and I figure I am already (third) eye blind, so I will follow HRM's method and light it up. Thanks to all...
