IcerocketSupposedly there is a force in the universe that is nonlocal...it interferes with photons and ions in our universe but cannot be described locally...
One of my beliefs , as well as in hindu belief structure, is that the universe is made of pure consciousness BRAHMAN and everything we see smell touch and know is called MAYA or ILLUSION. Quantum physics actually is turning to the hindu vedas in awe at how correct they are at a quantum level. Some even speak of building flying crafts (these are texts that are 12000 years old) and Aliens visiting earth long long long ago to seed the human race. Without straying too far onto that topic which is also up for discussion, if consciousness was the NONLOCAL force interacting with everything... one could make the assumption this universe is a "virtual reality" for conscious progression and learning and experience. One of my beliefs (it is still a question in my mind) is that we could be this ashakic record. Physical reality is based off of fractal mathematics and golden geometry...literally everything is guided by this math except consciousness. I believe that as conscious beings, little fragments of the ultimate "God" we are here in physical reality to learn and feel and to express to further along this record into it's infinite nature. Of course one must think of the record not as something physical or being under the influence of space/time...it is nonlocal existing only in possibility...
as our universe technically only exists in the now, even though time is relative to us and our "big bang" has a finite timeline, the universe has the possibility of being smaller/bigger still than we assume.
What i find literally hilarious is that...everyone searches so hard for God or the ultimate power but their views kinda block something fundamental that i've noticed:
People are looking for the finite bounds of time and space and everything becomes increasingly complex and fragmented...but when you sit back and accept the beauty of infinity...everything falls into place under unity.

yeah i think he's got the right idea though ;] most people on evolver have the right idea in knowing that they have alot to learn but are most definitely in the right place, here and now!

The danger of "the here and now" is complacency; I am not confident that Evolver.net people, for example, are going to "do" anything.
In fact, I think if you look around and talking about "doing," you would find that it's an idea that causes severe discomfort here: "Why would I do anything, when everything I need is here and now? Isn't that seeking? Isn't that desiring? Isn't that distance from the present moment, the right moment?"
So nothing changes because nothing needs to change.
But there's something wrong with our spiritual theories, because they're rendering us impotent -- or at least, just more sturdy aligners of the status quoue.
In the end, we just end up reinforcing the habits of society. Instead of consumer culture, we can take our pick from different decorations called "spiritualities" and "philosophies."

I bet you have come across the idea of Lila in your vedic interests. Lila, play, as the reason why there is anything, can also be uncomfortable to some, since it implies that even the most horrific actions are a whim of fancy, as well as the most noble. When coming toward a non-dual perspective of the universe, at first there becomes a great undoing of any justification to believe in morals. One has to keep in mind that they are currently living out a very dualistic existence, and that putting action into anything is binding your temporal experience with it, karma. There are some philsophers, spirtual teachers, whatever they want to call themselves, who are interested in mapping out the hierarchy that seems to exist between down in the dirt and feeling dirty, and down in the dirt and being dirty, and the possibilities of progressively transcending the dirt. So, not everyone who sees all as ultimately One, will take on a non-active course. One could choose to do nothing but contemplate on illusion, or do anything they want and justify it with, it is only an illusion. Or, one could seek to see if there are any attributes which exist in duality which could possibly bring down the cohesiveness of the One. In Advaita, Brahman, although without attributes, is suggested by Being, consciousness, and bliss. Being is always, but only known through consciousness. And, consciousness arose through material evolution. We still don't know much about consciousness, but until recently we didn't know about being either. Perhaps, as we embrace Bliss, consciousness will become clearer. My point is, there is a building up within Maya of temporal awareness of these attributes which point toward Brahman. It is not done yet, in the evolutionary sense and so most people simply take bliss as a fleeting condition, but to know it as undeniable as being would be the task. So, as an organism everyone has something to do, find your bliss. As a species, the thing to do is allow others to find their bliss. As limited awareness of what it is to be conscious has transformed the world through technology, bliss would bring about full awareness of consciousness and an entirely different approach to how we use consciousness. The word love in some sense points to this idea of bliss, and so it can be said that although there is no true morals, love can be something which transcends dualistic thought. Perhaps this is what Crowley was talking about when he wrote "There is no law beyond do what thou wilt. Love is the law, love under will." I will leave it at that, because, as you know, words could flow all night on this topic, and ultimately mean nothing. Unless someone is actually reading this and getting anything out of it, which becomes more improbably the more I say. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

This site is definitely a great place to bounce ideas off of each other, but in my own personal case it has inspired me to take action, and live in a way that helps undo the injustices that I see in the world, as far as I'm concerned I think this is the only way change can occur, and I'm not expecting it to be easy either, but I think it will be a hell of a lot better than contemplating the possibilities forever, who knows?(shrugging my shoulders)

One thing about evolver? It never seems to miss a beat. I wonder about this, you write that. There's a distinct rhythm to the flow of information.
I have giant drum circles around the bonfire in my experience. And the magic in that is that everyone is a participant. Even if you're sitting outside the circle just humming along, the ever-changing rhythm both entrains and becomes entrained by your presence.
It sure is fun! But how much work does it accomplish? Hard to say. It has helped me raise my kids with a foot in two worlds though. I'd hate to think how different our conversations would be today if they ONLY went to public school.
I wish I could download the experience to everyone directly. I remember how scared I felt at the first one! And the circle knew my fear too. and I knew that they knew as the beat shifted. And I wanted to run away. But I stayed. And for all of the indescribable real-time bidirectional magick-matrix feedback education I've received over the years now, I am SO grateful!

P.S. Building the new Thunder Dome was very hot, sweaty, and dangerous work, requiring a lot of political and financial discussion/argument/etc. A lot of group motivation/networking work too. My best friend who lived there had the new geodesic dome as a vision in his head back in 2004. This was the seed. He asked me and a few other friends for our help in manifesting it. So we all held it in mind together "as if it had already happened," throughout the whole year, and in spite of any obstacles. And we showed up for all the painstaking grunt work sessions. And then one week in 2005, all the parts were ready. Then! the community came out in force like an Amish barn raising, and it happened like a big party. It was so fantastic! Cost of materials only.
I'm writing all this because I've been wanting to share this information with y'all for a while now. But it's also spot on topic, I think. I'm exploring the prayerful or meditative aspects of I AM manifestation much more deeply now. But in all my experience so far, there is real, organized work involved at some point on the path. I'm actually bouncing back and forth inside right now between these seemingly different models of creation.
And just FYI, My role in this world thus far has been that of a seer/visualizer. I make pretty pictures that show large groups of people what their dreams, concepts, and aspirations look like. This was a key to organizing the group will to proceed with Thunder. I'm also a maya knitter, whose job is to hold things in mind as if they've already happened. And every time I've done that, it has been a *huge* commitment for me. I really love maya! But am I attached to it? This is a question I'm asking myself lately.

I'm working on me and my expression of oneness I think it cool we can all be the center of attention at the same time once we let go of the separatist ego deal, and embrace oneness. From my perspective!
We all are god recreating self. I feel we tend to see it from a third dimensional perspective like how can all these people walking around be God. But maybe if we take the physical density out of the equation. Imagine a higher frequency with greater latitude. Like imagine being able to see that bit of consciousness that billions upon billions can fit inside one proton. see it
and feel it, create with it. See how it flows through everything and joyfully creates and expresses its self and allows individual groupings of these bits take form and become creators. Seeing oneness that way makes it come to life more for me. The closer we get to the actual knowing, the higher or deeper we get toward source. And it all within.... Do You!!:!!
