Recently i lost my job. I see it as an opportunity to spend time progressing my conscious further and further into universal oneness..but sometimes i find myself getting human and bored!

So i played an old video game i haven't picked up in quite some time...
Final Fantasy 7.

About halfway into the first disc i started putting together tidbits from the story line and realized this game is very, very deep...on a very spiritual/occult level.

Quotes from the game involve being masters of thought of the lifestream, and planetary /personal energies...
Parts of the story involve searching through ones own conscious to find themselves, to find the reason they are there in the first place...

the main "enemy" in final fantasy 7 is Sephiroth...
"Sephirot (In Hebrew סְפִירוֹת), meaning "enumerations", are the 10 attributes/emanations in Kabbalah, through which God (who is referred to as Ein Sof-The Limitless) reveals Himself and continuously creates both our physical realm and the chain of higher metaphysical realms (Seder hishtalshelus). The term is alternatively transliterated into English as Sephiroth/Sefiroth, singular Sephirah etc."

In the game sephiroth has full control over his consciousness and infact is the enactment of what i believe to be the anti-christ consciousness in where he contains the wisdom of the stars and god but for the wrong reasons .. or possibly the correct ones?

My favorite line from the game, which at the time it appeared on my screen made me smile so big i couldn't believe it;

I am cloud, master of my own illusory world.

I got shivers.

I LOVE LIFE AND ALL THE CREATIONS THAT SPRING FORTH FROM THE ALMIGHTY "I AM" CONSCIOUSNESS :]

holy hell

One of my most favorite games of all time. I would never have thought to look so deeply into it that way. Good post! I'll have to go back through and play the game again for myself.

It's funny though, I think the same can be said for most of the Final Fantasy series. As a fellow gamer, it would be an interesting project (if you had the patience and time to research everything) to cross-reference all the lore that Squaresoft puts in their games with references to spiritual consciousness, and mythological archetypes. ;) I doubt we would be surprised .

Keep em coming.

Great observations. I also find it curious that Jenova is so similar to Jehovah... an alien entity that fucks with the earth and leads to the development of dangerous technology/ideology.

Have you played Chrono Trigger? That game DEFINITELY has some channeled info about our ancient history.

In my opinion FF7 is the best video game ever created! I bought playstation when I was 11 with the sole purpose of playing that game. Looking back, it was probably formative, and I know other friends who hold it on that kind of level also. I am not even into games anymore, but I keep my old playstation and copy of that game for the day I get a chance to replay it.

agreed

on just about every level FF7 was the best game ever created...in it's time.
now its more up to personal preference and graphics and other stuff but IMHO
ff7 holds that special place amongst the other games

Revealing Games

My favorites were FF6 & the Secret of Mana. Also: Metal Gear, entire series.

Wow! Never put all of that

Wow! Never put all of that together. A very interesting way to interpret the story. I wish I paid closer attention to the story as I played it...granted I was 10 years old when I first bought it.
