Time travel, Alternate realities & Conscious observation

Would it be safe to assume that time only exists through space expansion and contraction, that you can base the time travel formula on fractal mathematics?

Heres the scenario i play out in my head:
we are conscious, but we compute reality for our conscious to know what things are...we work with frequency on a physical level to know whats in our universe or in others existing for infinity...but that is strictly physical. Surely to transport one self into another equation it would have to be a shift of consciousness, not physical matter. Say you have a fractal in front of you and you zoom into what looks like a never ending spiral of infinite equation reacting off of itself...within the complexity of this equation we have multiple points of infinity, multiple dimensions and, theoretically infinite possibility. You want to change a small portion of this infinity, you have to change the equation. Theoretically for me, one would have to return to source before being able to travel "time"...which would indicate a physical death...
if one travels to another time, it would require completely leaving this time and frequency and thus it would critically change your thoughts and actions and even memories.

One could argue this here with the definitions of consciousness...i find this funny for 2 reasons.
A: if you accept consciousness as a mathematically spawned intelligence you must then accept that our universe is 100% pre determined in this math and our futures are already decided for the choices we make although seemingly sentient would be a part of that fractal.
B: it seems more likely that due to the wave-particle duality "phenomena" our universe would require a form of intelligence to stay in operation without physical beings...which would lead you back to "God"...but in no current definition of the term except all pervading and all knowing.

What im also pondering over is how the universe works on sequences of high and low vibration, which can't a part of the equation...it exists in the housing of the equation, the fractal recursive structure of the universe itself...
but this reminds me of 0101010 (binary) and brings me back to the possibility that all matter is holographic and defined by the rules of fractal mathematics...but consciousness cannot possibly be controlled by this math...it computes it . As sentient beings the role of us here in the universe is ultimately to create and express, learn and destroy...God learning itself through perfect divine example
