The Sacred Door Trail: Reconnecting to our Collective Role as Caretakers

As within, so without. When the cells in our body stop communicating with those around it they become isolated, and they break their connection to the community of life that surrounds and supports their own well-being. From this place of disconnection and isolation cancer arises in the cell.

All Nations Prayer (A Call to Sacred Action)

There is no louder voice, purer truth or stronger action than that of people from all walks of life and spiritual traditions joining together in the offering of prayers for our world and all that is Sacred. The act of prayer or meditation in any tradition allows us to create space from the inside out to affect change in the world.

Ayahuasca, Vipassana and My Journey to the First Shared Sacred Land

In June of 2011, the world's first recognized shared sacred land will be born. It will be shared by as many people, faiths, and indigenous cultures that care to support such an idea. The land will be a 180 mile pilgrimage trail located in western Montana. It will be the largest altar in the world dedicated to spiritual unity, peace, and our connection to Mother Earth and each other.

My wishes for YOU this new year..

On my path over this past year my work for The Sacred Door Trail has taken me to the melting glaciers of Greenland where gigantic ice walls fall into rivers every 20 minutes shaking ground and bone as a warning call of the coming rising seas. I have been to the drought stricken lands of Australia where in many places the rain has stopped falling.

Vipassana Meditation; A ten day sit that changed my life....

I wish to share an experience with you all that happened to me two years ago, two months before my 27th birthday. It was one of the most powerful spiritual experiences of my life that instigated a deep shift in the direction of my life. After the sit I decided to move out of LA, a place I had lived for three years, and I threw myself into the unknown.

Fire and Ice 2009

At the top of the world an ancient prophecy is being fulfilled through ceremonies that will be held July 17-19th in Greenland. Indigenous elders from all over the world will be gathering to help fulfill this prophecy around a sacred fire that marks the dawn of a new era for humanity.

About Me

Bio

For almost 27 years of my life I pursued the dream of acting. It carried me from the mountains of MT to the stages of NYC, Chicago and LA. However, a month before my 27th birthday it became clear to me that the universe had other plans for my path. After a 10 day Vipassana sit in Yosemite as well as a few transformative experiences with Ayahuasca the cracks in reality and in my old self began to make themselves visible calling me to deeper places from within.

I sensed the beginnings of a new path surface for me. Through my work with Ayahuasca I knew the only way to bring this new path to the surface was to throw myself into the unknown with an open heart and an iron fist of faith. For 8 months I traveled through Peru and Europe connecting to my ancestral lineage, healing my spirit, and building my relationship with Ayahuasca both in the mountains and jungles of Peru (see my web links).

Through that inner journey my new path has emerged which is to establish the first recognized shared sacred land in the world. Shared by as many people, faiths and indigenous cultures that care to support such a project. It’s called The Sacred Door Trail. Want to help?
