All Nations Prayer (A Call to Sacred Action)

There is no louder voice, purer truth or stronger action than that of people from all walks of life and spiritual traditions joining together in the offering of prayers for our world and all that is Sacred. The act of prayer or meditation in any tradition allows us to create space from the inside out to affect change in the world. Today as humanity walks the brink of possible destruction or possible transformation our coming together in a sacred way is more important than ever. For thousands of years humanity has inflicted upon Earth and each other fear, war, environmental destruction, oppression of the feminine and indigenous genocide. We as brothers and sisters of this great planet must come together now to face these wounds and heal them in order to move past such destructive behavior.

For four days in early July (June 30th-July 4th) people all over the planet, from all walks of life and spiritual traditions will gather together around the Sacred Fire in the company of silence to fast and pray for the healing of the world. Since the dawn of humanity people have used prayer, fasting and fire as techniques to connect with the Sacred. However, in these modern days with a world so filled with destruction, greed and division people have lost touch with the Sacred and in doing so lost touch with each other, Earth and their true power as human beings. It is through our connection to the Sacred that we connect to the Universe and all things in it thereby tapping into our true power as human beings and creators.

In order to bring this event to the world and make it as accessible as possible to as many people as possible we need people or organizations willing to open up their land to host these events. If you are willing to host an event we will take care of the rest of the organizational work. We also need event organizers who would be willing to bring this event to their own communities and find the space to put on the gatherings. These gatherings will be easy to plan and extremely fulfilling to work on. An organizer would be responsible for finding the land for the gathering and raising money for the porta-potties if needed. The rest; food, water and camping gear is brought by the individuals attending the event. Currently the All Nations Prayer is in contact with people working to plan events in the United States, Canada, South America, Indonesia, England, Australia, New Zealand and we are looking for more connections in these places and anywhere else in the world not mentioned here. This sacred gathering is a calling to people of all races and spiritual traditions to join together in prayer for the healing of Earth and of the human spirit so that we may step into a new world where Mother Earth and the Universe reclaims our sacred reverence. A world where we hold Love over fear, Change over stability, Vulnerability over control, Forgiveness over revenge, Peace over war, and Unity over division. May our actions be the doorway that allows all life to flourish and in that flourishing offer new ways for the great creation and mystery to express itself as many and as One.
