Bio

As a college student, I spent a summer following the Grateful Dead and found the community to be really comfortable. Almost twenty years later, my affinity for a non-conventional life is still there. So, here I am on Evolver- ready to connect.
I want to try on, take on as many things that interest me and I have: I've been a teacher, counselor, realtor (had to make a living), principal, and always been drawn to spiritual places for my work.
Spiritual journey really kicked in when my son was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (and it was an angel on my shoulder or something that told me to seek that diagnosis). We moved to the beach for his health, and I had no idea there was more to the Redneck Riviera than putt-putt, t-shirt shops, and deep-fried pickles.
Current inspirations: My significant other (he and I are having an incredible time on our mutual consciousness-expanding quest), Alex Grey, Tantra, children, the ocean, travel, dogs.
Lil bit more: My son is my North Star- that way I never get lost.
I'm extremely serious about work and extremely serious about fun- life's a balance or you tip over.
I sing all the time and I'm not good all the time
I live by the Golden Rule. Period.
I'm a bleeding heart and that's fine. I've done a lot of good.
My sense of humor can be found snickering somewhere between Monty Python and Sponge Bob.
I read all the time and if there's nothing around, I grab a cereal box.
I love to learn and I'll stop when I'm dead, maybe.
