Gratitude and Thanksgiving

Being thankful shouldn't be something we remember just a couple of times a year on holidays. Gratitude is a way of life. Finding something to be thankful for in every situation and experience opens our hearts, expanding our awareness of our reality and enabling us to find joy even in the worst times. Gratitude challenges us to view life in ways we have not before, to find beauty where once all we saw was ugliness, to experience joy amidst pain because we can still feel, to feel peace even in loss as we cherish the memories of those who walked with us for a time. To embrace gratitude fully, we wrap ourselves in forgiveness and our world becomes a place of wonder, awe and love. My prayer for each of you is that you will see the love of this world through eyes of gratitude, and that you will know that everyday I am grateful you exist and blessed by your footsteps next to mine. Happy Thanksgiving dear friends!

Bravo! Excellent!
Thank you, if we would all be grateful just a little bit the world would be transforms. Hidden within the simple are our truths and our solutions.
Do you not see?
Life is a gift.
Make a list of what are you grateful for and your eyes will be opened. Life is not suffering it is a gift. We have it backwards.
If you do Thanksgiving (as we do here in the US)
If you do Thanksgiving (as we do here in the US) may yours be one of the best ever. If yours is not the best then simply be grateful you have something to eat. :)
Grateful
I am so grateful that today I again woke up to breath in the mountain air, see the dog smiling, and had friends drop by with their toddler so I could cook them dinner and visit. I am so grateful to come here and see friends sharing their words and teaching me something. I am so very grateful to once again be connected to the lifeforce, to feel again. I am so grateful to be blessed with wonderful friends, have a dollar in my pocket, have a full belly, a roof over my head, fire in the woodstove, words to paint with and a content soul. I am so very grateful to love and be loved, to accept that I am full of flaws, make mistakes and have the ability to laugh at myself. I am grateful that I can get up after I fall down and can still fall down. I am so very grateful that I found and got the job I am about to start in a few weeks, grateful that there is light at the other end of darkness.
