Surrender

What you have described is the purest form of surrender. Many take surrender to be a negative thing; as in, we are no longer in absolute control. When one studies alternative spiritual paths, one finds that it is not at all negative. Opening ourselves to the Divine should not make us feel vulnerable, but on the contrary; that divine power is being infused into our being, thus giving us strength. enlightenment, and wisdom.
You've presented a beautiful path of thought.
