Wanna Evolve?

I think part of evolving is the basic openness to change - loss of fear of the environment, leaving space for change in your life, leaving space in life to be aware of changes in the self, the community, society, politics, technology...and so on. I think with that has to be the confidence that one can change. There is no end point, only the will to be in the moment and take action.

Think about it. Big oil, Wall Street, they know that their systems are outdated and designed for ruin. There is no other outcome - peak oil will see to that, so is global climate change. They could re-purpose their organizations for transition, but they are afraid to change, afraid to make the sacrifices, take the responsibility they need to. So in the end they will be as extinct as the dinosaur remains they pump out of the ground. They don't want to admit the environment - political, social, and economic is changing.

Now as individuals we need to come to terms with what is going on and decide if we are willing to change, keep our eyes and minds open.
