The "Left Eye of Horus" was a twelve-year "emotional body" training for aspiring Egyptian initiates. it dealt with various emotions, feelings, fears, and both (+) and (-) aspects of the chakras. All the temples in Egypt were built for Left Eye of Horus trainings. In this course, initiates worked with many different aspects of human nature. There is a specific fear related to each of the chakras, and each of the twelve major temples in Egypt dealt with the fear related a specific chakra.

In the temple dealing with the second chakra, there is a huge hole in the ground. An initiate had to go into this hole; the hole was filled with water. Huge stones were placed in the hole and they had to be careful not to hit them. The training included getting to the bottom of the hole, passing through a small opening, and then coming out the other side.

It doesn't seem so difficult, but this is not the full story of what they were doing here. Egyptologists know from ancient writings merely that there was water in the hole and that it was a part of training, but they really do not know the particulars. Drunvalo asked Thoth for an explanation as to the real initiation; Thoth gave the following account:

The temple complex was situated such that the initiation began on a much higher level than the hole in the ground. The initiation was set up so that the students could only see three steps leading into water at the beginning, and then a very high wall on the other side of the water.

The initiated had to go down the three steps and into the water and then in one breath come out, but not the same way. They had to work their way slowly because it was dark and also because of the obstacles. So they swam all the way down to the bottom of the hole; there they found a passageway leading to a huge tank. This tank was lit up so they could see it, and it was filled with crocodiles. At this point the initiates could see an opening at the top of the tank. What they would almost always do, according to Thoth, was head past the crocodiles and go straight for the opening.

The only problem was if they did this they failed, meaning they had to go again. The second time the initiate knew two things: they knew the opening they saw was not the correct way out, and they knew that the tank was filled with crocodiles. Having seen these creatures in the flesh probably made it much more fearsome when they had to repeat the test. At the moment of their greatest terror, then, they had to go even deeper into the tank of crocodiles and out the other side.

My first introduction to anything metaphysical was a recommendation to read Bob Frissell's (I believe he's a fellow evolver on here) Nothing in This Book Is True, But It's Exactly How Things Are. I bought this book in 2006 and read through about 6 chapters or so, until the "geometry talk" started. I guess it seemed to complex to me at the time and I put it down. I didn't read much in high school anyways, but I found the subject matter extremely interesting. Since then I've been on some kind of mission (like many of us) to learn as much as I can about myself and metaphysical/spiritual themes. I remember thinking, who the hell is this Drunvalo guy! Haha. I recently re-read and finished the book in two days because I knew it would be valuable.

I could only say that the geometry I am familiar with is what is presented in this book. Life continues to move faster and faster.

Namaste.

Really that book is just a

Really that book is just a remake of Drunvalo's book "Flower of life" He does add some information about drunvalo in his book though. The same thing happened to me also but when i first saw the book I couldn't put it down! I read it all in about two days. There is two volumes to go through. Then years later I started studying it more in depth. I have the pdf versions of the original Flower of Life books on pdf if your interested.
