About Me

Bio

Parashakti is a SoulHealing practitioner who has worked with over 10,000 dancers from around the world, facilitating workshops, trainings & retreats at the world’s leading holistic centers.

Her journey with dance, yoga, shamanism and a holistic lifestyle led to the birthing of her own unique healing modality – Dance of Liberation – which is a powerful blend of all of the above.

Parashakti has taught at the renowned Omega Institute and Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in New York State, as well as the Esalen Institute in California and the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Arizona.

She was amongst the first people to organize holistic and drug free raves and TranceDance parties in New York City, which led to her being included in an article in Newsweek Magazine.

In addition to finishing up her first book - entitled "Dance of Liberation", she is currently in production with BackNine Studios - filming her documentary of the same name. Dance of Liberation (the film) is an exploration of contemporary shamanism and spirituality through movement.
