Why do our schools not teach our children that they are each a world-conception?

Why does our notion of reality leave out the fact that something breathes?

Why does our global society not explicitly recognize that its ultimate goal is truth?

Why does our science obviate the fact that there's an organic visual construct inside every human being?

Why do our politics, media, textbooks, and authorities ignore the fact that all aggression comes from fear?

Why does our culture have no concept of the importance of silence, meditating, and digesting daily stimuli?

Why are most people oblivious to the fact that all our social, economic, and political problems are the symptoms of our psychology?

Why do our interpersonal, international, interracial and interfaith relations tend to forget that our common hope and destiny is unity?

Because our science is blind.

Our knowledge is ignorant.

Our belief system flawed.

Well, you know

I've always thought about starting an academy. It's tricky business. Money, land, building, food, the right mix of people, insight, and curriculum.

My favorite author, Bakker, wrote about the idea that as soon as we posit agency rather than complexity to these issues, we delude ourselves. So bar some "System" of control, rather than a culmination of societal and cultural conceptual organizations, set to limit the "negatives" of human nature, we're just tripping over each other in the super-complex.

Another good reason for organizing around the pillars of consciousness and cognition rather than those of fear and preservation.

nice

Who's Bakker?

I would agree; I see it as un-consciousness, un-inentionality, plain ignorance, only begging for consciousness and awareness of intention. A certainly complex agency.

Thanks.

what is that?

"Because our science is

"Because our science is blind.

Our knowledge is ignorant.

Our belief system flawed."

Its should be! I think whats lacking is humility and honesty about that... I think all knowledge is conjoined with ignorence and systems of knowing are blind, and each belief system is flawed... but whats lacking is an humble ackowedlegement of that with out an attempt to perfect or fix it.

that's...

Sort of what I'm saying, but not exactly. If you're not fixing it then what are you doing?

Evolving...

This was a highly impactful post for me. Thank you...

As for your questions, and answers...it does trouble me that our belief system is in such a tattered state. Our knowledge needs an update, humans need more awareness if they are going to evolve...and science, is just one language of many designed to help explain the world we live in - not the ONLY language.

But the good news is...obviously, we are not the only people recognizing these things! And now that we realize the system is falling apart - we can start to rebuild it.

I want to be a part of forming a new belief system - one built off an understanding - a consciousness, that everything is observer based - that WE are the designers of our independent perceptions and expereinces of this world. I want to help incorporate awareness studies in our public education system, and my partner and I are out researching and documenting these new studies for just this purpose.

So I grin when I read your post, because I know you have been impacted by consciousness, and now it will only be a matter of time until this consciousness turns into an action...(like posting this)....then another action...and another....and so on....

The point is, this understanding that it is all flawed is bringing down one system while simoltaneously building something new. The more involved we become in how we would like to see things, rather than how we don't want to see things...well you know the rest ---EVOLVERS!!!
