New York City. Living here the past year I've found the speed at which the city moves is not set by the pace of traffic and sneakers, but by the endless possibilities which the city provides.

"In an infinite chaotic universe, anything and everything that can occur- will occur, infinitely many times."

Now, while New York is not a universe in itself- though many will argue differently- it is definitely much more infinite and chaotic then any other place I've been to in my travels. With millions of people, of lives, of lines, of neurons- intersecting chaotically and randomly - anything and everything is bound to happen. Including, but not limited to- the coincidence/serendipitous scenes which I have grown to love.

Fate vs. Chaotic Coincidence.

Which is it that accounts for the fact that I called too late to get tickets for a show, and thus had a change of plans for the evening. That I left my house late, trekking through the city, ran a block, and decided on a whim to enter onto the front of the subway train instead of the car beside. That two stops later a friend, of whom I haven't seen since high school, steps onto the train and sits right beside me, we give each other odd looks and then enter into conversation. Random lives intersecting by chance or pulled together by the mystic forces of the city? A simple example, though through my experiences this past year the depth of some weavings are beyond immediate comprehension. What were thought dead ends are merely potent seeds slow to develop. The patterns and connections shine with a sliver chord connecting each and every action undertaken.

I'm sure it happens everywhere, but having just moved to NY the paths from one event to another are so much clearer. Similar to foot prints in fresh snow. It's easy to see how every instance leads to another. Is it chaos theory- butterfly flapping its wings in Africa and Zachary ends up on Broadway making millions of dollars (Flap with all your might delicate butterfly! Flap Flap!!) or the dominoes of the universe- tumbling down upon each other forming precise patterns predestined by fate or perhaps just everyday cause and effect?

we are potentially infinite

there is the idea that
our subconscious knows all possible potentials
by sense beyond lens
ze very one/sixth
AND
that the future
kind of ripples back towards us
the possible future potentials
and our sense "smells" out the most personally preferre dor desired experience

for instance
could Zachary have sensed that if he went that way
he would find a sense of time spatial familiarity
on the subway?
its almost probable, but more like
chaotic coincidence
could we be creating patterns?
that dont appear to be
until analyzed objectively
revisiting and revising and refining
nice,
oh i so want to remember my dreams tonight
i mostly never do
im hoping writing it here
will increase my chances

ps. i mean to say to that community does rock, we are each others absolute reflection, so the more we reflect, the more we shine? (cheesy)
but efficiently and sufficiently functioning global community is the goal
